Answered: Reloading a firmware or ROM onto the ZTE V795L via SD card

Steps (Charge the battery for 30min or so first):

1. Download > extract and copy update.zip file into the root directory of your SD card and insert it onto the ZTE V795L.
2. Turn the phone off and hold Volume up key and Power Key simultaneously.
3. Then short press Power key, the mobile phone enters into recovery mode, as picture 1-3shown below.
4. Press Volume down key to choose “apply update from sdcard”. Press Volume Up Key to enter sub menu. Press Volume down key to choose “update.zip”. Press Volume Up Key to start upgrade.
5. The update will be finished after a while.
6. The system of mobile phone returns to the screen automatically as picture 1-10 shown.
7. Press Volume Up Key to reboot system.

Otherwise it will be necessary to take the phone back the retailer (the shop from which you purchased the phone) and they will arrange and send the phone to the manufacturer's workshop for a software reload.
