OK - to hard reset that model and thereby clear the Vodafone Protect App together with all user data and apps, do the following.

1. Press and hold both Vol+ and Power button (no Vol-)
2. Release all 2 keys when you see the Android image (But if you see the Android system recovery menu, just jump to step 4)
3. Short press the Power key to display the Android recovery menu
4. Scroll to 'Wipe data/factory...' with the Vol- key
5. Short press the Power key to select
6. Scroll to 'Yes---delete...' with the Vol- key
7. Short press the Power key to select
8. Wait for the wiping to complete and then short press Power to reboot.
