Hi. Changing the IMEI is not legal and not necessary. With the tab rooted, you can rewrite the original IMEI. It is only unfortunate that this Netsurfer has been a hard one to root. We even tried to post a custom recovery to allow SuperSu.zip flashing root with no success.
