Taking a ROM backup for a MTK device for SP Flash Tool

1. Enable USB Debugging on the device to be backed up
2. Root the device with Kingo Root (the steps are essentially the same)
3. Download and launch the MTK Droid Tools
4. Download and run the ADB Driver Installer
5. Connect the device to be backed up - it information should display
6. Click on 'Blocks Map' to create the scatter file
7. Click on the 'root, backup, recovery' tab
8. When done, click on 'Backup' - the ROM backup should start and could take up to an hour
9. You get a pop up with Yes & No options when done, click 'No'
10. Then click on 'To prepare blocks for Flash Tool' - wait until the copying is completed.
