Hey Lillian, where is the tablet at the moment? With you, at the retailers or already at one of Mobicel's service workshops? Unfortunately, companies are worse when it comes to after-sale service. One reported about 3 months with a Verssed tablet turned in for service. Making it far better to try third party phone repairs shops first.

Please note that you will be charged R300 for this.

Hey Dark. Sorry to hear about that. Can you advise if you formatted the tablet using SP Tool prior to the flashing/downloading. Also, can you advise as to the behavior that lead you to flashing a new ROM. I am just trying to gather some info so we can try understand your possible options. Also, does the computer still pick it up when connected and the power button short pressed?

Hi. Thanks for the extra info. Yes it helps to know that it was formatted (and that excluding the bootloader). If you are able to boot into recovery, then firmware did install as 'Recovery' is one of the firmware partitions. Are you are to wipe data from the recovery mode -does it go through?

Hey Dipuo. It seems like the phone has some serious hardware defect issues. If is under a year old, I would suggest you go via your retailer (e.g Pep Store) and labour particularly for an in-warranty failure replacement. There sadly isn't much more we can assist with if the battery gets hot thus and the phone default-boot into recovery mode (the robot screen). This can only mean an electronic failure related issue that only the manufacturer/distributor should be able to assist with :(
